12/14/24 @ 9am

Granite Falls, WA

This course is for students new to hunting and/ or shooting. Topics covered are firearms safety, marksmanship, attaining a 100 yard zero with your rifle, and moving on foot with your rifle.

Firearms Safety

Whether you're brand new to firearms or looking to build on your foundation for hunting, we cover essential firearms safety skills to give you confidence and control. You'll learn safe handling practices both on the range and while hiking with your rifle in the field.

Marksmanship

You'll learn the principles of marksmanship and apply them on our live fire range. We will also guide you through the process of zeroing your rifle at 100 yards- quickly and efficiently adjusting your optic so the point of impact of your bullet matches your point of aim.

You will also learn to use your backpack or daypack to establish a stable shooting platform in the field.

Moving with Your Rifle

We will do a short exercise moving through difficult terrain with rifles to practice safe handling techniques at the end of which you will identify your target and have a time standard to work against as you quietly load your rifle, establish a firing position, and fire one round into a target the size of a deer's vitals at 100 yards.
